Terms and Conditions of Haliviera

Note : If you have booked on another website than Haliviera.com (e.g. Booking, Vrbo/Abritel or Airbnb) please refer to the conditions mentioned in their website.

1) Introduction

Haliviera is the commercial name of the sole proprietorship, registered in the Trade and Companies Register of the Alpes Maritime (06.) The apartment that is rented to you is equipped to meet your needs during your stay. You will find furniture, bedding, crockery, bed linen, towels, coffee, tea and some surprises.

2) Studio Usage

The studio can be rented for a holiday stay, a stay in the context of a work or study trip. No professional activity is allowed in the studio: no filming, no service activities.

Any breach may be reported.

3) Personal data

Personal data collected on the site will under no circumstances be distributed to third parties, nor sold, rented or lent. You can exercise your rights here.

4) Reservation rules

We mention here the conditions common to all means of reservation.

Usually two commercial offers are available:

  • Flexible stays can be canceled up to 24 hours before the check-in date for an additional cost. Cancellation is possible directly via message.
  • Non-flexible stays that cannot be canceled.

The cleaning and sheets fee (85€) is compulsory and cannot be cancelled. It is unique unless specifically requested for one or more additional cleanings via message for the same amount.

The tourist tax is collected by the Website and transferred to the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis. The price of the tourist tax depends on the price of the night. This is a price per person.

The whole studio is rented at a cost per day for 1 person with a supplement per day for an additional person A child can be added free of charge, but no bed will be provided.

If an extra person is not added, this will constitute a breach of contract and will be reported to authorities.

Few days before your booking, we will contact you to receive a digital copy of your passeport.

In some cases we will take a deposit that is entirely refunded at the end of your stay if no damage was done.

These offers can be canceled at any time as long as they have not been consumed.

4-B) Special conditions – Parking

A parking is available on demand for a flexible amount between 12,5 € and 20 € per day. Questions and details are available via message.

5) Deposit and compensation

A bank guarantee can be taken after booking. Any voluntary or involuntary destruction, loss or theft of studio property or studio structure may be subject to compensation by the tenant on the basis of the value of the repairs or the object. The deposit will be used first and then in the event of a higher amount, an invoice may be sent by Haliviera to the tenant. At the end of the rental, if the check-out reveals that there is no damage or theft, you will pay nothing.

6) Cancellation of reservation by Haliviera

Haliviera reserves the right to cancel all reservations, at any time and for any reason, without penalty.

7) Arrival in the rental (check-in)

On the day of your arrival, the rental will be available from 4:00 p.m. You will receive a private link by message allowing you to access the studio. Arrival is therefore completely independent.

It is possible to carry out the check-in via a dedicated person traveling on site via a supplement of 25 €. This service should be provided at least 24 hours in advance.

As soon as you enter the accommodation, you can carry out an inventory and report any defects via message (cleanliness, deterioration of equipment, etc.) within 24 hours of the start of your stay.

8) Number of tenants and external visitors

We rent our accommodation to you for the precise number of holidaymakers provided for in the rental contract. If you wish to welcome visitors during your stay, please ask for our prior agreement.
The total number of occupants must not exceed a maximum of 2 adults and 1 child. Guests not included in the reservation are not allowed to sleep on site.

9) Hours of calm and respect for the neighbourhood

We thank you for limiting noise at night (between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.) so as not to disturb the neighbourhood.
Parties and events within the rental.
Parties, events and large gatherings are not allowed in our furnished accommodation.
Commercial filming and professional use are strictly prohibited in the studio.

10) Use of premises and respect for equipment

Throughout the duration of the stay, the tenant must respect the premises. He will make good use of the equipment and will maintain the accommodation to make it in perfect general condition on his departure.
Kitchen utensils, oil, spices and cleaning products are at your disposal during your holidays.
You are not allowed to move the furniture.

11) WiFi

The wifi password ensuring you an internet connection is confidential information. Please do not communicate it to people outside the group of travelers. During the duration of the stay, you are held responsible for the content consulted.

12) Responsibility

In the event of an accident (fire or other), breakage or theft, it is your responsibility to inform the owners before your departure. The deposit will be debited partially or totally to reimburse the costs incurred if your responsibility is called into question.

Similarly, in the event of unacceptable condition of the rental, an additional cleaning fee may be debited from your deposit according to the number of hours spent, and the cost of the unavailability of the accommodation.

13) General safety instructions.

As hosts, we cannot be held responsible for the theft, loss or damage to the accommodation if the rental is not properly closed (windows + locked entrance door). A safe can be used for your precious belongings, but again we cannot be held responsible in the event of theft.

A presence sensor is present in the studio, to manage the periods between shifts and raise an alarm in case of intrusion. This sensor is not used for other purposes.

Likewise, in your absence, do not leave household appliances or electrical appliances on. The apartment is equipped with smoke detectors as well as a presence detector.

Please do not leave children unattended in the rental. We won’t be responsible in case of accident.

14) Non-smoking accommodation

Haliviera is a non-smoking area. It is therefore strictly forbidden to smoke or vape inside the accommodation. Smoking is tolerated on the balcony, with the window door closed.
An ashtray is available in the balcony. Please do not let smoke penetrate the studio, and do not leave cigarette butts in the garden or on the terrace.

15) Pets

Pets are not allowed in our accommodation except for service dogs.

16) Household waste management

A selective sorting bin is available in the kitchen to allow you to sort your daily waste. To take out your garbage cans, the collection bin is on the ground floor of the building. Glass (bottle), packaging (plastic and cardboard) and the rest must be disposed of separately. Waste collection days

Please do not leave your rubbish in the studio when you leave.

17) Outdoor spaces

Barbecues are prohibited on the balcony and inside. The balcony is freely accessible, but the other spaces, including the roof of the gym, are not accessible.

18) Emergencies

If necessary, you can contact your host by phone or message.

For any other emergency, here are the essential numbers in France:

Evacuation in case of fire must be done in front of the entrance of the building.

19) Departure of the rental (check-out)

On the day of departure, you have until 10:00 a.m. to return the accommodation, leaving the access badges on the table. The dishes must be done and the trash cans (wet, packaging and glass) must be taken down to the trash room – Poubelle- (on the ground floor.)
An inventory will be made at the exit.

20) Reminder of sanctions in case of violation of the rules of procedure

In the event of non-compliance with the internal regulations by the tenant, the owners reserve the right to apply appropriate sanctions.

Termination of the rental contract with loss of the security deposit/deposit. You must leave the premises before the departure date concluded following the interruption of the stay.

In the event of damage or breakage, the objects must be replaced with the same or reimbursed to the owner using the amount of the deposit (if a deposit was done) and/or additional invoices.

If the cleaning carried out by the travellers does not correspond to the minimum standards of hygiene, the additional cleaning and maintenance hours will be invoiced to them as well as the time of unavailability of the rental.

For criminal facts, the police services could be informed with the legal consequences.
